SpiceJet’s ‘SME Traveller’ tool for Small & Medium Enterprises Proving Popular

Gurgaon, 6th Feb, 2015: SpiceJet, the airline that made flying more affordable for more Indians than ever before in 2014, today announced that it has witnessed huge success for its dedicated Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Travel Management tool ‘SME traveller’. Over 5000 SMEs have already registered themselves on SME Traveller link on the SpiceJet website. The registered SME’s have booked and traveled over 2700 business trips on SpiceJet.

SpiceJet had introduced the simple self-booking innovative tool 'SME Traveller', exclusively for the SMEs late last year. This product has been especially designed to address the needs of business travellers from the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. SpiceJet was the first airline in India to introduce a dedicated and seamless travel management platform for SME business travellers, offering flexibility and opportunity to save on every booking.

Spice Points, a new product from SpiceJet, enables the SME Traveller obtain further discounts on their future travel. Each completed travel accumulates Spice Points, which are then reflected against future booking searches as well as in the traveller’s profile. These Spice Points are as good as cash and can be redeemed by the SME traveller against subsequent booking(s).

“According to our statistics while south has contributed the most we see other regions too actively registering for this tool. We see a huge demand coming from east in the near future. ”, he added.

SMEs can benefit from the attractive fares (up to 10 percent discount), “Spice Points” upon each completed travel, simplified booking process and detailed travel and savings reports. SpiceJet’s new SME product allows qualifying firms to manage their cost, schedule and overall travel requirements dynamically and proactively. This product enables individual business travellers of the registered SMEs to manage their travel needs on their own, while providing complete visibility and transparency to the SME business and travel managers.
